The smoke of cigarettes contain over 4,700 chemical components of which approximately 60 are carcinogenic.

Acrolien, Acetadehyde, Ammonia, Aromatic Amines, Aromatic Nitrohydrocarbons, Arsnic, Benzo[b]fluorathene, Benzo[j]fluorathene, Benzo[c]phenanthrene, Benzo[a]anthracene, Benzo[e]pyrene, Cadmium, Carbon Monoxide, Catechol, Chrysene, Formaldehyde, Hydrogen Cyanide, Hydrazine, Nickle, Nitrosodi-n-propylamine, Polonium-210, Quinoline, Urathane, Vinyl Chloride.
This is just a short list of the toxins and carcinogenic compounds in the cigarette smoke. Cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 80% of lung cancers and can also be associated with other forms of cancer such as:- the mouth, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, uterine cervix, kidney, urether, bladder, and colon.
